Infotron was established in 1986, and offered multi-user information technology systems. Simultaneously special electronic projects division was developed dealing with microprocessor controllers, laser systems and NIR spectrophotometers.

In the ninetieth Infotron expanded on telecommunication and radiocommunication area, focusing on computer communication systems and vehicles fleet management systems. As a result of this experience SNRT2000 system was implemented in 2000 year (communication and management of 450 trams in Warsaw).

Currently Infotron extended SNRT2000 system with next subsystems, particularly wireless depot system to automatically send and receive data from trams.

Infotron also builds intersection priority transmitters for public transport vehicles, which are used in traffic management systems.

During last years there has been developed video surveillance department, which leads  projects of systems for safety in railroad vehicles and also  projects of other applications that use motion images.

In 2003 Infotron has implemented and maintains Quality Management System, certified 2004/04/19 in conformance with the standard PN-EN ISO 9001:2001.

Since 2010, Infotron is a member of Intelligent Transportation Systems association ITS Polska.
